Teriyaki Bowl

So simple. So delicious! and the freshness is beautiful!

Stir up a Teriyaki Bowl for yourself using my ground turkey mixture:

extra lean ground turkey: either 93% or 99%, then I mix it with onions, peppers, celery, salt, pepper, garlic and sauté the mixture until the turkey is browned and veggies are semi-soft.

Once you've prepared the ground turkey mixture, add a touch of teriyaki sauce and your choice of rice, whether that be cauliflower, jasmine, brown, etc.

In the photo above, I have used a cauliflower rice that I just pop right into a frying pan to cook/reheat. Then I add in the ground turkey mixture to meld all the flavors together.

For added flavor I'll make a fresh pico de gallo with a few kiwi or cucumbers finely chopped into the salsa. I also add a touch of chili paste for spice. And if you like sour cream, I suggest squeezing a little lime into the sour cream to thin in out and add a little on top of your meal.

Eat on Purpose,
